Now that your trees are producing OXY, it's time to upgrade them!
To improve a tree, it must be planted on your plot. You can then attempt the upgrade whenever you want by spending a certain amount of OXY.
The cost of the upgrade depends on the rarity of the tree you are trying to obtain:
Rare : 15 000 OXY
Epic : 35 000 OXY
Mythical : 50 000 OXY
Unique : 90 00 OXY
But beware, this improvement does not succeed every time!
With only 1 tree, you only have a 5% chance of successfully upgrading from basic to rare! You can increase this percentage by engaging trees of the same type and same rarity in the upgrade.
For example, by involving 4 basic firs, you have a 14% chance that the upgrade will work.
Depending the tree rarity, upgrade chances are differents.
Whatever the outcome of the upgrade, all engaged trees will be transformed into seedlings and sent to your greenhouse. You will then have to wait for them to grow back to use them again.
If the upgrade is successful: you will receive your new NFT tree directly in your greenhouse. You just have to wait for it to grow to use it!
The special trees planted on the plot also play an important role in the upgrade.
Indeed, if a special tree is planted on your plot, and is from the same environment as the tree being upgraded, it can protect all the trees involved and prevent them from going to the greenhouse.
It will protect of 10% your upgrades, not depending on the number of special tree.
Whatever the outcome of an upgrade, no NFT will be lost. You will never risk losing a tree while playing FarmTrees.
